James A. Hernandez has practiced law since 1986 and assists clients in criminal defense at the state and federal level, including white collar charges, military law, and family law, including divorce and custody issues.  A Retired Lieutenant Colonel of the United States Marine Corps and former Federal Prosecutor, he understands the strategies involved in criminal law and the military courts.  Mr. Hernandez is admitted to practice in Alabama, Florida, the U.S. District Court Middle District of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals 11th Circuit.

Mr. Hernandez earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  He also has a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, which he obtained from the University of West Flor
